Agentforce gives you several ways to buy. Which one fits your support operation?

Salesforce now offers Agentforce through multiple buying models — including Flex Credits, conversation pricing, flat-fee access, and Agentforce editions. ify takes a narrower approach for support: resolution-based pricing tied to tickets actually resolved, running on top of Salesforce, Freshdesk, Zendesk, Intercom, or HubSpot.

Quick answer

Agentforce

Salesforce currently publishes several Agentforce buying options: Flex Credits at $500 per 100,000 credits, conversation pricing at $2 per conversation, flat-fee access at $125 per user/month, Agentforce 1 Editions from $550 per user/month, and an Agentforce User License at $5 per user/month that still requires Flex Credits for metered usage.

Standard Agentforce actions consume 20 Flex Credits, or $0.10 per action at the published $0.005-per-credit list rate. Data 360 is required for some Agentforce capabilities and is part of many Agentforce architectures, but Salesforce also documents agent scenarios that do not require a full Data 360 implementation.

ify

ify uses resolution-based pricing, requires no Data 360 dependency, and works across five helpdesks.

It is designed as a support-resolution layer on top of Salesforce, Freshdesk, Zendesk, Intercom, or HubSpot, so the helpdesk stays the system your team already uses.

The real question

Agentforce pricing isn't one number — it's a set of buying models.

If you're already on Salesforce, the natural question is whether Agentforce is simply the easiest next step. It may be. But the cost model depends on how you deploy it: customer conversations, metered actions, employee access, or a broader Agentforce edition. The useful comparison is the architecture and usage pattern you will actually run, not a single headline price.

Conversation pricing

$2 per conversation

Salesforce continues to offer a flat conversation model for customer-facing agents. It is easier to reason about when a support interaction maps cleanly to one billable conversation.

Flex Credits

$500 per 100,000 credits

Agentforce meters actions individually. Salesforce's current rate card lists standard Agentforce actions at 20 Flex Credits each, which is $0.10 per action at list price. Salesforce's own examples show a two-action order-status request at $0.20, a three-action case workflow at $0.30, and a five-action field-service workflow at $0.50.

Per-user & editions

From $5 to $550+ per user/month, depending on the SKU

The current pricing page lists an Agentforce User License at $5 per user/month with Flex Credits required, flat-fee access at $125 per user/month, and Agentforce 1 Editions from $550 per user/month. The right comparison depends on which Salesforce products and usage entitlements your team already has.

Where Agentforce has a genuine advantage: if your support operation is already deeply standardized on Salesforce and you want native CRM, Service Cloud, Data 360, and Agentforce capabilities under one vendor, that depth matters. ify is designed as a resolution layer on top of the helpdesk you already run, not as a replacement for Salesforce's CRM platform.

Market context

Agentforce and Fin are now under the same company

Salesforce completed its acquisition of Fin, formerly Intercom, on September 10, 2026. That changes the competitive landscape, but it does not automatically make Agentforce and Fin one product. Salesforce has not publicly detailed a final packaging or migration path that combines the two, so evaluate the products that are available now rather than assuming how they may converge.

Salesforce's acquisition announcement is linked in the sources below. For a product-level comparison, see our ify vs Fin comparison.

Security & compliance

Enterprise controls should be verified, not assumed.

ify publishes GDPR, HIPAA, ISO, and AICPA SOC 2 trust signals across its site. Before production rollout, validate the current reports, scope, data-handling terms, subprocessors, and any workload-specific requirements in the Trust Center — the same diligence you should apply to Salesforce or any AI vendor.

The real cost

Model the full operating cost, not just the headline Agentforce SKU.

Salesforce's own pricing now separates agent usage, employee access, editions, and Data 360 consumption. That makes an all-in estimate use-case specific. The clean way to compare is to model the components your deployment will actually consume.

Use your actual workload and contracted rates when comparing.

This page intentionally avoids a universal “all-in Agentforce cost” because Salesforce's current pricing and Data 360 consumption vary by contract, features, volume, and architecture.

Agentforce line items should be validated against your current Salesforce order form.

The same ticket, two approaches

A customer asks where their order is.

Both products can answer a support request. The meaningful differences are where the agent runs, how it reaches business systems, and how usage is priced and governed.

Agentforce's path

Customer enters a Salesforce-connected experience

The agent uses the Salesforce context, knowledge, actions, and connected data configured for that deployment.

01

Agent executes the required actions

With Flex Credits, each standard Agentforce action consumes credits; with conversation pricing, the customer interaction is priced per conversation.

02

Result stays in the Salesforce ecosystem

That native CRM and Service Cloud depth is valuable when Salesforce is already the system of record.

03

ify's path

Customer writes in through an existing support channel

ify works on top of the connected helpdesk and keeps the case or ticket inside that system.

01

ify checks connected systems and acts

It can pull billing, CRM, order, or account context and execute the approved support action before replying.

02

The ticket closes in the helpdesk you already use

Reporting, SLAs, queue ownership, and the audit trail stay attached to the native ticket.

03

The decision is less about whether either product can answer “where is my order?” and more about the operating model you want around that answer.

Multi-agent orchestration

Both platforms can coordinate specialist agents. The difference is where that orchestration lives.

Salesforce now offers Multi-Agent Orchestration in Agentforce: a primary agent can route work to specialized subagents while preserving context. That makes the old “single agent vs multi-agent” comparison obsolete.

ify

Support-first orchestration

A complex ticket can be split into specialist tasks — billing, account, technical, or operational — and recombined into one customer-facing response.

Works across your support stack

The orchestration sits above the helpdesk and connected business systems rather than requiring your service operation to move into a new CRM.

Resolution remains the commercial unit

ify prices against resolved tickets rather than the number of specialist agents participating behind the scenes.

Agentforce

Primary agent + specialist subagents

Agentforce can route tasks to specialized agents and preserve a single user-facing conversation.

Native Salesforce governance

Subagents can use Salesforce data, actions, observability, and policy controls inside the Salesforce architecture.

Metering still depends on the selected SKU

Model the actions and services your multi-agent workflow consumes under your contracted Agentforce and Data 360 terms.

Adding ify to Salesforce

Layer it onto Service Cloud without replacing the workflow your team already knows.

01

Connect Salesforce

ify connects to the Service Cloud environment you already run; no Data 360 dependency is introduced by ify.

02

Keep your routing and SLA model

Cases remain inside Salesforce, with existing queue, routing, entitlement, and reporting structures intact.

03

Add systems and guardrails

Connect the billing, account, order, or operational systems needed to resolve a case and define where human review is required.

04

Roll out by queue or channel

Start with a narrow support workflow, measure resolution quality, then expand without a CRM migration.

You can evaluate ify alongside existing Salesforce automation rather than making an all-or-nothing platform decision on day one.
